ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $1,200 - $1,400 Bi-weekly DOQ

CLASSIFICATION: Regular Full-Time
NUMBER OF VACANCIES: Multiple
JOB SUMMARY: Fulfils requirements specified to OHS Guidelines in all aspects of Head Start programmatic activities. Supervises and implements all classroom activities. Screens all children using the designated screening assessments. Plans evaluates and individualizes curriculum. Implements positive guidance techniques to support a positive classroom environment. Works with the Center Manager to facilitate the smooth operation of the Center. Shares responsibility for training and providing technical assistance to staff. Performs related duties as needed or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Teacher II: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience working in a preschool program preferred. Teacher III: Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A valid S.C. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs., stoop, kneel, run, jump, and move without any limitations.
