JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Director guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resource services, policies and programs for the entire agency. Advises the President/CEO, department directors and staff in personnel matters. Assist in meeting all staffing needs through recruiting and employee selection. Ensures positive employee relations are implemented and maintained throughout the agency through compliance with agency’s Personnel Policies and Procedures manual, funding sources requirements and both state and federal laws and regulations that governs employment. This position promotes employee safety and healthy wellbeing. Serves as a liaison to the Personnel Committee of the Board of Directors; recommends policy changes to President/CEO, and Personnel Committee and Board.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or related field required. At least five years’ experience in Human Resources management, personnel administration, supervisory or managerial capacity required. Experienced HR professional in an organization of more than 100 employees. Must be able to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Good organizational skills. Valid S.C. driver’s license and valid transportation required.
