JOB SUMMARY:  Implements case management of selected customer households. Mobilizes and coordinates internal and external resources to remove barriers and follow-up on active cases. Participates with customers to develop a plan for self-sufficiency. Implements an approved work program. Participates in screenings, intakes, and other direct service delivery. Maintains a caseload in accordance with ROMA goals. Determines barriers to self-sufficiency, sets objectives mutually agreed to by customers, and evaluates customers’ progress. Responsible for maintaining customer records and all related reports. Participates in staff case reviews. Performs related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.  Licensed Social Worker or equivalent combination of formal training and related experience preferred.  At least two years of experience in social service work and experience working with low-income families is desired.  The ability to work with a team and to creatively approach problems of low-income families is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have a valid SC driver’s license, good driving record, and dependable transportation.
