Intake Specialist (Homebound Services)

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for designating intake and screening of client traffic for appointments for home bound clients. Completes documents for assistance with all required data for files, logs and other internal systems. Coordinates and schedules appointments for case management services. Performs other related CSBG and LIHEAP duties as assigned and other general office assistance. Assist with front desk duties as designated. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent required. Additional formal training beyond high school desired. Experience working with public required. At least two years of experience in customer service or a related field desired. Excellent verbal communication skills and a good telephone voice required. Must have excellent organizational, record-keeping skills, and legible handwriting. Must be proficient with computer programs, including standard word processing, data base and spreadsheet programs with the ability to adapt to custom software. A self-starter with the ability to work as a part of a team and have knowledge of the service area is desired. Valid S.C. driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation required.
