Dr. Willis H. Crosby, Jr.

Dr. Willis H. Crosby, Jr., former President/CEO for Sunbelt Human Advancement Resources, Inc. (SHARE), passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Greenville, SC.

Under his leadership, SHARE received many awards and recognitions from 1979 until his retirement in April 2017. Dr. Crosby's commitment and dedication to helping low-income individuals and families were evident throughout South Carolina. He helped make this state a "better place for the least of thee" to live.

Dr. Crosby was nationally known and contributed to successful outcomes for the National Community Action Partnership.

He always addressed his staff with inspiring words of encouragement and acknowledged his staff's exemplary accomplishments. He was uplifting and had a great sense of humor. He was brilliant, accomplished, kind-hearted, giving, and supportive.

Dr. Crosby, we thank you always and forever for your support and contributions to humankind.
