Kick-off Head Start Awareness 
All Head Start staff 
wear Red, White & Blue
Friday, October 23rd  Wear your favorite college attire. Talk to 10 individuals outside of SHARE about the many programs that SHARE offers. Recruit parents for Head Start
Monday, October 26th   Flood your social media page with positive Head Start messages (no pictures of Head Start Children).
Tuesday, October 27th  Wear any Head Start Logo (pins, buttons…..)  *Classroom staff must adhere to classroom dress code. 

Wednesday, October 28th

Rock the Vote Day
ALL Head Start Staff will commit to asking 20 or more persons to commit to vote.  
*Head Start centers will make Commit to Vote Signs and will hold up signs as parents are dropping off and picking up their children (see below).  


Wednesday, October 28th –     Head Start Centers will greet drivers as they pull through the center parking lot.   To increase excitement, music, balloons and commit to vote signs will encourage parents to make plans for when and where they will vote. 

***Remember, our agency and/or any program staff cannot tell parents which party to vote for or which individual to vote for, however, we can encourage parents to exercise their right to vote.
